Marcia Anne Rosales is a Classical Pilates Instructor from New York, certified through the New York Pilates Studio Teacher Certification Program. Since her early years, Marcia had a deep love for movement. Movement became a vessel of expression for her through participation in various sports and dance techniques. Along with an active lifestyle, she experienced some injuries & pain. She first discovered Pilates in 2009 at the Pilates Haus, owned by Brett Howard, the Senior Teacher of Teachers for the NY Pilates studio. Shortly after personally experiencing the benefits Classical Pilates had on her body, Marcia decided to become an apprentice and studied under the close mentorship of Brett Howard. In 2012 she completed her 600+ hour training in mat, reformer, cadillac, chair & various apparatus. Having a passion for women’s health, she also completed a specialty certificate in Pre and Post-natal pilates under Carolyne Anthony in 2015.
Marcia's goal is to empower her clients through movement. She encourages her clients to explore movement while paying attention to the importance of maintaining proper alignment, so that they are able to optimally perform their everyday activities and obtain their overall fitness goals.
Marcia relocated to Vancouver in 2014 and is now living in Point Roberts. She’s excited to share the benefits of Classical pilates with the community. When she’s not in the studio, she enjoys being a mama to her 7 month old boy, practicing yoga, biking, rock climbing, beach volleyball, & salsa dancing.
