Kathleen McInnes teaches at Madrona Yoga in Point Roberts WA.
Kathleen has been practicing yoga and meditation for as long as she can remember. Her mother was her first influence in the sixties and seventies when yoga was gaining popularity in the west. In the eighties she became a devoted student of hatha vinyasa yoga at the White Lotus Foundation with Tracy Rich and Ganga White.
She gained her Teacher Certification from highly esteemed Tias Little of Prajna Yoga and continues her studies with him. She compliments her Yang practice with Yin Yoga learned from Sarah Powers and how it balances Chi through ones Meridian System. Also studying with Susi Hately of Functional Synergy in Yoga Therapy. She works privately One on One with individuals who need the attention of a personal customized practice for a specific advancement, focus, injury or work with a physical health issue.
Her passion for Therapeutics flourished as she witnesses individuals creating ease, mobility and strength in their yoga. Yoga inspires by the transformation possible each time we come to the mat, bringing greater flexibility , ease of movement to the body and joy to the mind.
