Rejuvinate with an evening of Restorative Yoga.
By supporting the body with props, we will alternately stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance, bringing ourselves into an "active relaxation." In general, restorative poses are for those
times when you feel weak, fatigued, stressed from your daily activities or for when you are ill, or recovering from illness or injury. But it is also a time for a more calming, introspective and quiet practice.
The use of props, such as bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps, provides a completely supportive environment for total relaxation as well as stimulating and soothing the organs and boosting the immune system.
These soothing and well-supported poses offer us the opportunity to linger quietly and savor the simple sweetness of life. You will be rewarded with the ability to drop with ease into a place of deep contentment; stilling
our bodies and calming our minds so that we may rest quietly in the present moment while opening our body.
